Altoona Action. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1956. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8615, an AS-24M built by the American Locomotive Company in August of 1956 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. In the right background, note the two steam locomotives workin' the yard!
