Portraits 4. Here is a steam locomotive portrait of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1661, an A-5S (0-4-0) switcher built in Juniata during December of 1916 and retired in January of 1950 after 34 years of faithful service. Note that the main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#2 of 40)
