Description:  Now THIS is a rarity... Pan Am freight EDNM (East Deerfield to Northern Maine Jct) passing the current MBTA commuter stop at Belmont Center station. Flooding forced Pan Am to reroute some trains on the MBTA's Fitchburg line instead of their own Stony Brook line. I finally got a good look at freight in my home town. Lighting wasn't optimal (never is it seems in Belmont).

Description:  I went to Eagle Bridge to see if there was any sort of rescue underway for EDRJ which had canned on the number 1 track at Eagle Bridge the night befoe. The trailing unit, MEC 515 had cut out. EDRJ is waiting for a re-crew, and rescue power to take it the rest of the way to Rotterdam Jct. Neither had showed up at the time of my visit.
