7 units on point |
Description: |
This was an unusual lash-up, for sure. There were seven locomotives on point, including two B units. I think this was probably part of a locomotive reporitioning, as I am pretty sure only the first few were under power and a grain train which usually only requires two to three locomotives certainly didn't need seven. |

BNSF Boeing 737 fuselage train |
Description: |
The fuselage sections for the Boeing 737 are made in Wichita, Kansas and shipped in one piece to the 737 final assembly building in Renton, Wa|hington. This middle fuselage in this train had no windows, so it was either a freighter version or a military version for the Australian military called a Wedgetail, which is a mini-AWACS aircraft. I'm not sure which. There wasn't a cargo door in side so maybe it was the military version. |

Gas motor doing something.... |
Description: |
There were two cars in this string of about 50 hopper cars that had these gas powered engines. I am just guessing, but maybe&they are a source of extra pneumatic power for the brakes? This train of crushed rocks for the roadbed have got to be heavy. |

Lots of action going on. |
Description: |
Im not sure what was going on here around the front locomotive. The crew spent about 20 minutes messing with things, inbluding mounting what looked like some floodlights on top of the cab and then running a power cable down the side and in through the cab window, which I thought sure lloked like a jury rig setup. |
